I've always had strange apocalyptic nightmares when I am stressed. They usually involve some Hollywood type vision of a post-nuclear holocaust or my(thanks guys) Holocaust. I once dreamed that I was set down in the great Mao revolution. Everyone-hordes and hordes and hordes of Asians were marching through China. I was walking the wrong way. (not joking. I really dreamed this. For someone who considers her total lack of sense of direction a metaphor for worse this is a nightmare in trplicate.) Yet-on reflection-it's easier to escape when you're walking into 20 billion assholes then when you're marching with them. Barb |< << >> >|

Went down a road together
Followd by a tomato carrying a ledger.
Well who could resist such a vegetable stew
They soon had quite a crew
the bored, the mad, the vicious and the sad
They all thought it so very very bad
When tomato and egger and the chick disagreed
How awful for poor chick to deal with such greed.
How they applauded when-a miracle-chick was in the lead
Soon there were 800 strong/following along.

How unfair for chick-what a hard life she led
there were a few dissenters-but most kept their peace
Knowing it was hopeless to teach or preach
The few who tried were were shoved aside
Get off our road-Stay on the side
The rest of the tale I will not tell
I'm just an outsider-who the hell?
So I shut my eyes when i passed a wreck
And closed my ears when I heard a faint bell
But even I had enough when I found something new
The chick and 800 had trampled Roo
